Using Uber at WDW right after Magic Kingdom fireworks?

If we use Uber to leave after the Magic Kingdom fireworks, can they pick us up at the Contemporary so we can walk over there rather than having to get back to the TTC? It sort of defeats the purpose of using Uber to skip the long bus lines if you still have to get on a monorail or ferry.

Yes I know about the Minnie Vans but for just 2 of us $20 is a bit steep for a 5 minute ride.

After fireworks, expect "surge" pricing for Uber and Lyft. We had dinner at the Contemporary and watched the fireworks from the Top of the World Lounge last month. An uber back to Saratoga was normally $10, but after fireworks, it was $17+. A Minnie van might be worth the extra $3 just to avoid the long walk.
