Hello, I am staying at Fort Wilderness campgrounds this upcoming week (January 30-Feb 4). We have an RV, but are not towing a vehicle. So, we are at the mercy of the buses...ugh! However, I wondered about anyone's experience using Uber FROM the campgrounds to the parks? I don't mind Disney transportation back to the campgrounds from say, Epcot...but getting to the parks can be a very long time commitment. Can Uber vehicles get through the security gate at the front of the campsites? And, can the Uber vehicle come directly to your site to pick you up? I would love to hear about anyone's experience using Uber from the Fort Wilderness campsites. Thanks so much!!

Taxis are not allowed through the Gate and directly to campsites,so I would think the same applies to Uber.

We always take Disney transportation from FW, and found it is no worse than transportation from any other resort. We do usually request to be located near the Settlement (have ended up in Loop 400 most times) so that we can walk to that Settlement bus stop for the internal bus. All 3 internal buses stop there and the Outpost, so by going there we cut the internal bus wait time.

Edited to Add: And yeah, I agree with the PP, you will likely not be able to get Uber to come into the resort.
