Do you guys like buffets? Many (if not most) of them have a "children's buffet" with mac and cheese, chicken fingers, pizza, etc.
I'm also a very picky eater, and Dh is fairly picky as well (for some strange reason NONE of our kids are picky, and will eat anything). I really liked the buffet at the Crystal Palace. In addition to the "childrens buffet" they also had rolls/bread, mashed potatoes and gravy, prime rip, chicken, and really good desserts. Of course the downside is that it is a character meal; not sure if that's something you'd want to do or not. Another meal I really enjoyed (not dh so much) was the character dinner at Liberty Town Tavern. Very basic food: roast beef, turkey, stuffing, rolls, mashed pototoes and gravy.
I would probably tend to stay away from any of the Worldshowcase restaurants, with the exception of Le Cellier (if he likes steak). We tried Akerhaus in Norway, and neither my dh or I liked it. I'm sure it's good food; we're just too picky.
I would imagine they would let you use TS credits for CS if you wanted to....heck, they'd come out way ahead if that was the case! However I would try out the TS restaurants instead, just because (cheap as I am) it would burn me up knowing I was paying $37.00/day....for a $6.00 CS sandwich.
