I haven't used one since booking my honeymoon almost 20 years ago, so I have questions I hope some of you will answer.
With the availability of online info and booking, what are the advantages of using a travel agent these days?
I contacted one about travel to the Carribbean this spring since air travel seems crazy to get through the various islands (long layovers, etc), but it looks to me like I can book the same for $200 less and get "more" at some resorts.
Can I get/use my rewards when using a TA? (example - deals for Marriott Members, Carlson rewards, etc. or does using a TA exclude those?).
Thanks for helping me understand TAs better.
