Using Tram from DLH?

Hi!

We just got back from DL last week and had a blast!! We stayed at DLH and used the monorail only once as it was down quite a bit (they told me it had something to do with the Cars Land construction). So my DS4 and walked to and from the parks most of the time and used the GCH entrance for DCA, which was really nice! I'm just wondering, would the tram have been a transportation option for us? I kept seeing signs for the tram, but couldn't figure out where it picked up near DLH and I didn't want to take my DS4 took far off the beaten path as I had no idea where I was going!

We would love to go back and would lean toward GCH next time just for proximity to the parks, but just wondering if the tram would have saved us some walking from DLH or if it really only for people parking at Mickey and Friends parking area.

There is no tram that goes to the DLH. The signs you saw are for the trams that take guests back to the Mickey and Friends parking garage.

Good to know!! Glad I didn't try to get on it! Definitely didn't want to bring DS4 to the parking garage!

We use the monorail to save a few steps. Some times the wait for one as well as the line isn't favorable so we end up walking. For DL hotel it's the only option to save a few steps in the day.

We do like the GC. It's nice to be so close to the action. But it does come at a cost.

We didn't even ride the monorail our last visit. We were too busy riding other things. The time we did want to ride it back to DTD, it had closed for the night. It made for a long walk and the end of a long day.
