We're using Tiffany's for our ride to and from MCO to CBR for the first time. I'm a little concerned that we may have too much luggage...Just how big is the trunk space in a Towncar???

There will be 4 of us (me, DH, DS#1, DS#2). We have one extra large suitcase (double the size of a normal big suitcase), one big suitcase, a duffle bag, and a couple of backbacks. Should I try to do some major downsizing??? We'll be staying for 11 days - so I am planning to do laundry...

We used Tiffany's back in Nov 2000. I had one large suitcase for me, one extra large duffel bag for DH, medium suitcase for DD, cooler, stroller, carryon bag and probably a couple other bags.

The towncar has plenty of space in the trunk as well as in the back seat. Plus there is always room up front with the drive if no one sits up with him/her.

I hope this helps. Have a great trip.:)

We used them in Dec...LOVE them by the way..... well we were there for a 14 day vacation and I WAY over packed! We had I extra large suitcase, a large suitcase, A large hard garmet bag that was like another suitcase, a carry on and a backpack! LOL It all fit just fine and had room left for groceries. I am embaressed to say there were just two of us on that trip, and of course we didnt even wear half the clothes we brought. (guess thats what happens when you bring your entire closet!) hehehe Ill try to do better the next time around. HAVe fun and enjoy your tip!

You can handle this in a couple different ways. You could request a van, although this is a little more expensive than the towncar, and you would have room to bring as much luggage as you want.

It you stick with a towncar, with 4 people, you will not want to plan on putting luggage in the car with you so you want it all to fit in the trunk. Keep in mind that smaller luggage and especially soft luggage (like duffles) are much easier to pack into a trunk. Re-consider everything you are bringing and cut back to the essentials, plan to do laundry, and pack a duffle and a backpack per person. Use a luggage cart to make it easier to lug the duffles through the airports. You'll have plenty of room in the towncar, even with groceries.

Thanks for the info! I'm hoping to not over-pack too bad - but I do have to take and extra empty duffle bag to put all of the stuff my kids will just "have to have" on the way home!
