Using tickets for first time at park

We have our 2 day hopper tickets with fastpasses for both days all set up. We are planning on going to EMH at MK this Sunday Dec 28. My question is do we have to go to a special booth or something to have the tickets matched with our fingerprints or is that done automatically when entering the park?

We hope to do rope drop at MK, stay for a couple of early morning hours and then leave before it gets unmanageable.

Nope, nothing special. Walk to the front gates and tap your card/band. The finger print scanner will light up. Easy peasy.

Yup...first time you use a ticket that doesn't have a finger scan associated with it, it will assign the finger that is scanned.

Just as a tip to speed it up - put your right index finger on the scanner as you're waiting for the band to scan...it will do it faster than waiting for the band, then doing the finger.
