Since Tokyo Dining is a sushi place and a lot of the sushi is between $8-10, how does that work if you are going to be using a TS credit from the DDP? I'm assuming one sushi choice for $8 wouldn't count as an entree would it? Any ideas?

No, you're right. The sushi doesn't count as an entree. On the DDP you can't order from the separate sushi menu at all and have your selections covered.

You can get sushi on DDP if you order it as part of a combo platter from the regular menu.

Last time we were there (September) you could get only the Sushi Deluxe platter or the Sushi Combination platter from the sushi menu, and it counted as your entree on the DDP. Both of these have set items in them, you can't choose. No other sushi is covered unless it's part of a combo plate on the regular menu.

We just order what we want and pay OOP for some extra sushi if it's not covered.

Check that you like what you can order on the DDP. Its the most frustrating inflexible place in all of Disney for substitutions - even with dietary restrictions.
