Using PriceLine.Com...

Woohoo, thanks guys! I just tried this for Feb 20-25 and got 145 per night at Hyatt Grand Cypress. Tried 110, 120, 130 137, all of which were rejected. I got accepted at 145 (should have tried the 140; oh well can't complain!) This was the one I was hoping for!

Sucks!

I just looked it up on trip advisor and it say that it is under construction.

So, I guess that is why I got it.

Oh, well it is right across the street from where I need to be.

And, because it is not a lot of people staying there I know I am sure to get a room to accomodate the family of 5.

dabrnigrl, as far as I know the Renaissance is undergoing major construction work with the use of jackhammers and stuff, and maybe it will be a bump on your vacation.

But I also noticed that people in the biddingfortravel forum were able to get a full refund from Priceline base on the grounds that the Resort is undergoing major renovation. You can take a look at this thread and if you don´t want take your chances you may call Priceline and ask them for the refund, and try to bid on some other zone or go for a 3* at Int´l Drive Zone.

Are you serious?

That link does not work.

I was a little bummed at first about the fact that I found out it was undergoing major construction.

Especially since it was my first time doing a priceline.com bid.

Can you repost the link, so I can check it out?

Thanks for the suggestion.
