I know SW allows you to change your ticket without penalty (unless the cost is different).

Is the same true for flights booked on points?

Thanks,

Dawn

Yes, the points go back into your RR account. You are given the option of having the $5 or $10 TSA fee either refunded or issued as a credit in your RR account. The points go back to your account and there is no expiration date associated with them.

Yep...changing a flight booked with points is awesome! After my experience with doing it for our June trip, I want to always book with points. It was so nice to be able to change my flights around with no consequences whatsoever.

DawnM,it's BETTER.;) you can book,then change,cancel,or rebook,no penalties,no expiration! it's the BEST thing going!:cool1:

awesome. Thank you.

We are going to visit my parents and their health is often not great, so I would like the option of changing or canceling if their health dictates it.

Plus using points, you pay the equivalent of about $10 less each way. Definitely use them at their current value since they get devalued after March 31, 2014 - they go from 60 points per $1 up to 70 points per $1.
