Using Points at Disney Hotels

Can the amount of points needed to stay at all the other, non-DVC Disney hotels change. For examply it is 26 points per day in the week and 45 points on Friday and Saturday to stay at the GF in Adventure season.

Can Disney change the points needed or is it the same policy as with DCV resorts where the points will not change.

Yes, those points may be changed or eliminated. They are not subject to any regulation within the DVC contract. I don't expect much chnage to occur for those locations, but it can happen without warning or explanation.

the only time they have is with the GF, it used to listed with the other deluxe resort.

I am really surprised that Disney has not increased this benefit - look at the prices for the Polyn in 1993 and compare it to 2001 -

Of course, the value of our points has gone up substantially since 1993 too.
