Where is my most frugal option for paying online with Paypal, for a Disney resort and Tickets? I know I can use expedia, but are there more options? Their rate is the exact same as Disneys...

Why go through the extra steps? I sell stuff on Ebay and want to use it directly. I live in Canada, its all in US funds, I'd have to pay exchange 2 times and lose over 4-6% of it exchanging it. Paypals policy is that they have to convert it to CDN funds to deposit it in my CDN account, thats 2-3%, then I'd have to pay in US funds after, thats another 2-3%!

It looks like Orbitz takes paypal as a payment method:). There has been many threads on some of the other boards about using Orbitz because you can use a their discount codes on top of the discounted price they are offering for Disney rooms (those would be the current discounts available from Disney directly). You would have to check the discount codes. One that was emailed to me a few days ago is "OUTTAHERE" . That one is for 20% off. I don't know if it works with the Disney hotels or not as I haven't checked but it's worth a look. You can add tickets during the check out process, but I don't believe you can add any dining plans.

I'll try Orbitz again, but their rates are higher than expedia even with the codes, unless I'm not applying them correctly. Thank you for your help!

Can you get the paypal debit card? I sell on ebay too & use that money to pay for our trip. I have the paypal debit mastercard and use that to make payments on wdw's site. :goodvibes

would be with Dave's DVC Rental, I believe it is dvcrequest.com and I believe I am allowed to mention them/I think they are a sponsor. I have not used them before, however I was going to when short on points. There are various times of the year when getting say a studio for a week at OKW resort could come out less than staying at Pop Century. I have only read great reviews about them. Best of luck with your trip and hope you find a good option for you.

Keep in mind the Disney discounts are capped at 15% with Orbitz so if you have a 20% off code it would work for a Disney hotel.

Also don't forget to book your Orbitz hotel through Ebates.com for 5.10% cash back for all orbitz hotels bookings. Combine that with the what every the discount code Orbitz is offering hotel10 for 10% off or Outtahere for 20% off. Or look for specials for booking with Orbitz on Ebates. In July Ebates offer $60 in Orbitz bucks, plus $10 for booking a hotel room plus $5.00 for spending $25 that month so I get $75 to use on a furtur hotel booking. So we decided to add another day to our trip and I paid $42 to stay AoA

Got Orbitz to work through ebates! Going to book it now, however a quick question. How do I get Magic Bands and Magical Express?

This is frustrating lol, I almost booked and then noticed I didnt add the kids, added them and it put an extra $15 per kid per night on the reservation! Makint it WAY cheaper booking through Disney... how do you all do it? Do you book through them and add kids later?

Yes that is what people have done previously..book without the kids and call to add them later. You are also able to get the reservation number needed off your confirmation email to add everything to MDE.
Now the last time I was following all of this was more than a month ago, but there are still threads about it.
Found one here..

ETA) It's a known Orbitz glitch that it adds extra adult fees for kids so people just call Orbitz and they call Disney and have the kids added.

I booked through Expedia to save the hassle of a call. Now to call tomorrow to get the whole MB thing started :)
