Using Paypal to book my vacation home.

I never used Paypal to buy anything. I have my account set up, and I’m fixing to book my home. Anyone ever have any problems with this service? I guess I’m just nervous about this transaction.

I use paypal very often, usually for e-bay purchases. I have not had any problems, and would not hesitate to make a large purchase.

I also use paypal a lot. I used it in January to pay for a condo rental near Disney. It was very convenient.

I will never use Paypal again. They allowed someone to withdraw $1200 from our checking account. They even red flagged the transaction as 'suspicious', but they never contacted us. Once we called them, they gave us the run around and basically did nothing. We ended up having our bank reverse the transaction and get our money back from Paypal. They say that they're secure, but when something like this happens, they only look out for themselves and their money, not yours.

I used Paypal to book our vacation home a couple of years ago...worked very smoothly, I also use them quite often for Ebay purchases.

I think you just need to be cautious when signing up with anything with your account related. If you receive e-mails from them do not ever click on a link in the e-mails and offer your account information.
