Thought I would mention this again... I Ebay a little and use Paypal, last time we were down I went with about $700 in my Paypal account, after a few days I asked the CM at the counter to run it thru for the exact amount, which she did.. What I didn't realize is that when she did this, my now used up Paypal account was my card on file.. So the day we were checking out, I get a call from the front desk notifying my credit card on file was rejected.. Too me a while to realize what had happened, was a little embarrassing and a pain..

I use my PayPal debit card while traveling too. One thing you have to be careful of is using it at the gas pump. Sometimes, gas companies will run an approval transaction through that ties up more money than you actually spent, and then the actual amount will go through. Meanwhile, you have this "pending" charge that remains for 11 days. I have even had it happen before at JC Penney where they put through an "approval" amount in the exact amount of the purchase, and then put it through "for real" a second time, so double my money was tied up. The approval dropped off after 11 days. It can be a major pain. But it only happens if you use it like a credit card (without entering a PIN), which I like to do, since I get 1.5% cash back on my purchases if I use it that way. ~am I making sense? I know what I mean, and you probably do too since you use a PayPal debit card.

I like using it at disney also for the 1.5% back. I also use it to pay for the hotel and passes, for some extra spending $$$! :cool1:
