Using other resorts' pools

Xavier,

I don't see the big deal, you'll be staying at the Epcot resort area. So IMHO its ok:rolleyes1 , though its considered "pool hopping" Ask a CM and if they tell you YES, then go for it!(If they tell you NO, then simply keep asking until you find a CM that tells you yes!:rotfl: ) Honestly, to me its not a big deal esp @ the Epcot resort area because all those resorts are deluxe, so your paying about the same prices as anyone else that is there!!:confused3 When we stay at the YC we use the pools at the BC if the others are really crowded! Its really a matter of opinion.

I always ask a CM before I "jump in" and if they say its okay I take their word for it. I've never been told No either. But it also depends on the CM you ask!! Some say yes while others say no!! HTH :thumbsup2

Enjoy your Vacation!!

Guests are restricted to using the pool at the resort they are staying at unless it has a sister resort (POR/POFQ, All Stars) or they are DVC members staying at a DVC resort on points AND pool hopping is not blacked out. Even DVC members cannot pool hop to SAB, AKL or S/D. It's rather embarrassing to be asked to leave when you cannot produce a room ID from that resort.

Bad taste, Cricketmint. :sad2:

So I guess I have bad taste now for doing the correct thing and getting permission from the resort to use the pool, even though we are staying on the same sight. This is DISNEY Some of you guys are really uptight. Its not like hes staying at a value and pool hopping to GF!! :scared1: HE's staying in the same location, and if he asks and they say yes, then whats your problem with it, its not like anyones being hurt because a guest child is using the pool! :sad2::sad2: :sad2: :sad2: I recall check in into YC last sept and asking if we could use the pools in BC & BWI and the CM checking us in said YES.

WHILE I SEE THE POINT EVERYONES TRYING TO MAKE AND AGREE, IF I ASK THE RESORT AND THE RESORT TELLS ME YES I CAN, THEN YES I WILL! IVE ASKED EVERY TIME WE'VE VACATIONED AND NEVER BEEN TOLD NO! MAYBE ITS JUST MY LUCK, BUT WHY CANT THAT BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR ANYONE? IF THE RESORT SAYS ITS OK THEN WHO ARE YOU TO SAY OTHERWISE????

maybe its bad taste on your part.

Say goodbye. The policy is that you aren't allowed to pool hop. You aren't a WDW resort guest and you aren't a guest of the pool you want to hop to. The pools are for resort guests only.
