Okay, please no one flame me....

At WDW we have brought along old Fastpasses from our previous visits (sometimes years old) and have been able to use them to get onto rides, no questions asked.

Can you do this at DL as well?

At DL, would they accept WDW Fastpasses (for the same ride, obviously)?

hello and from what ive heard only dream fastpasses have been able to be used but reguler ones i dodnt think they have been but idk maybe some one else knows for sure..and no one will flame you this is the nicest boards on the forms no ones mean. welcome

While I've never tried it personally, I doubt you can use WDW fp's at DLR.

My last trip to DL the wouldn't even let me use fast passes from the day before. I can imaging they would let you use fast passes from monts earlier let alone one from WDW! But ya never know if you don't try! :confused3

I wish I'd known that they would have let me use my dream fast pass for different days, it said the date that we'd won the passes on them so we just assumed that that was the only day you could use them...

The rule is to use the fastpasses on the same day. Having said that, sometimes the CMs will let you through with the older ones. I have never heard about WDW fastpasses being used at DLR.

I read an article that people are selling fastpasses on Ebay to be used later, and that Disney is not happy about that. I fear that if this practice becomes too common they might become stricter about the fastpass return times.

I've done it at both DLR and WDW, the key is to just act like you belong. Don't walk up and start acting all shifty-eyed with beads of sweat!

It just comes down to the CM at the time, kinda like some CMs will let you ride without getting off if nobody is in line for that spot, some don't under any circumstances.

Exactly! that shifty eyed thing, will get you every time! ;) he!he! ( insert little smilie being shifty eyed )

I also cannot say if WDW FPs can be used or not.

When we went last April, I got a FP for Buzz, and ended up not needing it cause the line was so short. The CM at that time told me to use it the next day, and I told him that was our last day, and he told me to save it for another trip. That we did, and last October (6 months later) we used it with no probs.

I am sure as everyone else is saying, that it depends on the CM, but I dont see how it is that big of an issue.

HTH!!

This smacks of DON'T use other hotels pools you aren't booked at no matter how nice they look and NOT reusing the Resort refillable mug for multiple years trips [to save money] after the first purchase.[These are big no no's here]

Old Fast Passes from years ago, seem to fit this category, too! like it will ruin trips for the rest of us in the near future!!

I have always been told by the CM's that you can only use the FP's on the day they're issued. I've never tried to bend this rule as I feel it's only courteous to other guests. In particular on busy days when the FP's for a ride are all gone, I think it wouldn't be looked on well if I snuck in there with a year old FP.

I did that with Space Mtn. There were a couple of teenage girls walking up and I wasn't "with" them but we walked up at the same time, they handed the CM the FP and I just handed it to her and kept walking. She didnt' even look at it. I think they look at the return time more than the day. Now I wouldn't do it on a regular basis, but I happened to have it left over so I gave it a shot. It's so easy to get a new one the next day why wouldn't you just get new ones? Buying them? That's stupid and I hope Disney puts a stop to it. If they all start to end up on ebay then it's going to get harder for guests to get them if the sellers are snagging them all for themselves.

Most times CMs don't even look at the fastpass when I hand it to them. I've never tried using expired ones, but I think I have to go righty-tighty on this one and agree that it could potentially cause more harm than good if it becomes a practice.

Sy - no wonder!! they aren't even remotely the same, one is a ride and one is arena show?

you can not use old fastpasses at disneyland, but you can use fastpasses from the same day, even if the time is up. Also they are starting single fp for big thunder and autopia so you can have more than one at a time if you get the fp for bt or autopia

So, from this discussion, I ma gathering that at DL they are now (sometimes) pickier about the dates on the Fastpasses than they used to be? And WDW ones probably won't work. I guessed on the WDW issue, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

BT and Autopia are disconnected Fastpasses now? Thanks, that's good to know!!! I'll try it out when we're there. :cool1: Is Roger Rabbit still a disconnected Fastpass?

Actually the Autopia and BTMRR disconnect was just a temporary thing. It has been reported that they were reconnected last week.

The only rides currently disconnected are Roger Rabbit and GRR.
