Using Mears between WDW resorts and USF/IOA?

Another DIS member was kind enough to point out to me that Mears could be used to travel between a WDW resort and USF/IOA. which is great news, as I thought I'd have to shell out big mulah to get from one place to another. Does anyone have any experience using Mears to get to and 'fro between WDW and USF/IOA? I've heard some not-so-good tales about using Mears between MCO and WDW, so I'd like a perspective on traveling to places other than the airport.
