Using ME without disney resort reservation?

I will be traveling with friends on the same flight. They are booked at a non disney resort, i am booked at the polly. We want to all travel to the polly together when we arrive. Can they pay to use magical express to my resort and have their luggage sent to my room with mine? Thanks!

No, unfortunately ME is a service only available to guests staying in a Disney resort, while you would be eligible, they would not be. I would consider renting a car, arranging for a towncar or taking a taxi

After you get to Orlando your friends can walk up to the Mears Transportation counter near the Magical Express counter and get a shuttle ride to the Polynesian. The cost is about $20. per person one way and they may or may not be on the same bus with you, since Mears operates the DME buses also.

Mears' Shuttle cannot be reserved in advance when going to Disney's resorts although this does not make much difference.
