Using MDE tickets?

My mom and I purchased our family's tickets thru the MDE app so they are linked and show up. Can anyone tell me how these are used or verified once we arrive at the main entrance of MK and what I should expect? I'm unfamiliar with all this. Thx!

Are you staying on site?
If so, they'll be accessed via your MB. Everything you need to do on property is done by scanning your MB. They don't hold data themselves but merely give access to your account to the device scanning them. So the system can see your tickets, room, etc.
If you are not staying on site you'll receive a plastic credit card type ticket that will be used to enter the gates and enter FP lines.

You must go to any ticket booth or Guest Relations at WDW with your ID and confirmation number and you will be issued a plastic card ticket to use at the park (entrance gates and for FP+.).
