Using Magical Express when flying standby?

We are probably going to be flying standby to Orlando for our September trip. My husband works for an airline so we get free passes.
Question is: how do I make reservations for magical express when we may or may not be bumped to a later flight? SHould I just reserve for what flight I HOPE we make it on? Adding to the complexity, we may end up driving to FL instead if the flights look too booked up (we live in Atlanta, so not a terrible drive). Will we be penalized if we reserve and then we cancel or change our flight times?

Make an educated guess as to the latest time you would get to Orlando and reserve Magical Express for that time.

No problem if you arrive early the same day, you'll just be on your way to Disney earlier.

No cancellation penalties.

Once you made your reservation, you can even make date changes up to the day before.

Howdy to a fellow Atlantan! :cool1:

As for the flight, all you'll need is the flight number. If you are delayed, you should be just fine when you come to check in. They have buses all day, so they will just put you on the next one.

Have a good trip.
