If we go to a CS with no kid's meal (ie Catalina Eddie's ) and we want to use a child's credit, do we need to ask for that? If I am there with DD5 while Dh is somewhere else, I would hate for to be charged two adult credits. I have heard that the cedits are still pooled and I had heard they are separated.

Simply tell the CM what you are doing, that you need one adult and one child and you will be charged accordingly.

When no kids menu is available, kids eat from the regular menu for their own credit. TS credits have been split. CS credits are currently still pooled.

I was wondering about that too, thanks for posting!:goodvibes

Thanks for the quick responses! Now, I'm getting a little loopy- possibly from uber planning. (Is there such a thing??!?!?!) If my group consists of three people- Me, DH and DD5- does that mean we have a total of 21 cs "pooled" for a 7 night stay? If so, how will they differenciate between adult credits and children credits? My main question would be breakfast at All Star Movies.

My understanding is they do not differentiate those credits. However... they are not supposed to ring up 3 adult meals if your card says 2A/1C. Likewise, they can't ring up 3 child meals. They just take your order, and remove 3 credits from the pool.

If CS credits are still pooled when you go, your receipts will say the total number of CS credits. So for 3 people over 7 nights, you'll start out with 21 CS credits. They'll be deducted each time you order a meal; after each meal, you get a receipt stating the total # of credits you have left. TS meals are currently separated, so it's entirely possible Disney will start separating CS meals too, but as of now, they are not, and they're all pooled together.

While they're still pooled together in the information systems, guests are expected to use the credits appropriately. This would help preclude Disney putting in place yet even more enforcement that affects guests' flexibility to use the Dining Plan.

I thought the cs credits had been separated. If still pooled, will I be able to swap meals with my 9 year old. He would prefer a burger & I don't mind a garden salad (cosmic Rays). Could we also mix kids/adult for TS ie swap main course.

Sure - once you have the food, you can distribute it any way you want (except, PLEASE - not to the birds!).

At this point, I still haven't gotten a straight answer about that from Disney. You'd be amazed at some of the odd-ball answers I've gotten from them to that question. Anyway, I'll keep digging.
