using Hotwire site

I am curious how many people use the Hotwire site to get a hotel in Orlando. Also if you have tried it what rating were you looking for and what hotel did you get?

We did for the night we were driving into town. March 31, 2.5 star, $49.00
The hotel ended up being Best Western Lakeside. I believe it was under maingate area. We were able to match up the ammentites with a list on betterbidding.com and were %99 sure of what hotel it would be when we took it. Hope this info helps with what you are looking for.

Ok...I just looked at betterbiding site. I viewed a map of Priceline for Orlando which displayed a bunch of different hotels for a specific areas. So if I request a hotel in a particular area, am I guarenteed to get one of the hotels that is listed on the map?

I believe the hotwire and priceline maps and hotels are different. There was a spot in betterbidding site where they listed the hotels from hotwire by their area and ammenities and ratings and sometimes you can match them up. I don't think using these sites there is ever a 'guarantee' and remember there is no refund, no cancellation.
