Using gift cards to pay for DDP on a DVC stay

I am trying to find a way to use the Disney gift cards that you can buy at Target to pay to add the dining plan to our upcoming trip (we are staying using our DVC points). From what I'm finding there isn't a way? Has anyone else found a way to do this? I was thinking that maybe I could add them to a DVA but after making a couple of call I'm finding that may not be a possibility. TiA!

Call member services and read the gift card numbers over the phone. They can apply them to the DDP. I did this for my recent trip in December.

Was your trip booked through DVC?

If your reservation was made using your points, to use Disney Gift Cards as payment for a dining plan you must call MS.

Yes you can use the DVA ! I did mine last week but I did have to call and give the DVA account number. Just tell them you are paying with a gift card .
