Using FP+ without magicband

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm staying at the swan and dolphin so I won't receive magicbands. What do I use to activate my fastpass. Also what do I do to prove that I'm an onsite guest during EMH hours? Thanks!

Magic bands have a chip that links to your MDE account, nothing is actually stored on the band except for the ID#. A ticket also has a chip and links the same way.

Download the My Disney Experience (MDE) app, first. Set up all of your family members who will be traveling with you. Once you have your park tickets, there is an option on the app for "linking" your tickets. I just followed the directions to scan each one under the appropriate family member's name. Then use MDE to set up your Fastpasses. When you go to the attraction, you use your (credit card like) ticket just like on-site guests use their Magicbands. Easy peasey!

You can also link any dining reservations to MDE, so you have your itinerary all in one place.
