We have our first family trip coming this summer and our Fastpass window is quickly approaching. I've been reading about combining regular Fastpass with a child swap pass to basically double up your group's fast passes. Just to clarify I'm thinking through this right please give me feedback on the following scenario. My husband and I are traveling with our sons (5 and 2). The 5 year old is 49" so shhould be able to ride most things, unless he just doesn't want to. We're traveling with my mom, grandmother, and cousin. Here's my Epcot plan (I haven't thought about the others yet).

Group A:
Me
DH
DS 5

Group B:
Mom
Grandmother
Cousin

We all rope drop Test Track and get a child swap pass.
Soarin: Group A Fastpass
Group B Child Swap Pass
FEA: Group B Fastpass
Group A Child Swap Pass

Am I over thinking this or will this plan get all the big Attractions done?

That plan is fine. Pretty much what we did last month. Just double check that FEA has the kid swap available. Didn't use it there so not sure. Also keep in mind that sometimes the swap ticket might not expire that day so you could use is another day of ur trip.
