Using fastpass after your hour's up

Never had a problem using a fastpass after the hour was up. All the CM's told us it was good for time stamped on it till the park closed that day, but idealy you should come back during the one hour window that it is set up for.

Ok, you're right, it doesn't make it right, but to think the machines would be down after the stunt sorta set me off after our experience at Test Track when the machines were dropping like flies.

By the way, on that occasion, the CMs who finally did come didn't just hand out FPs like I've seen them before on other rides - they would take our park passes and feed them through the machine. Sometimes they would print, other times they would re-open the machine like they were clearing a jam or something. It was mildly annoying because it was taking them forever and the lines had gotten so long, I think we all sorta wished they would start handwriting on the paper. Anyway, with them using this technique, I am guessing you might not have gotten your additional FPs.

From what I know is that you can use a late FP anytime that day unless the rides had issues (ie downtimes etc) then they might not allow you to use them unless they were for the specific down time (ie the ride was down from 1-2 so they would let all the 1-2 FPs go but not the 9am ones)

Last week I was able to use several FP from 2001. During our trip we used most of our FP after the return time had pasted. Many of them we used several days later.

Each time I'd tell the CM at the FP entrance and theyall said it wasn't a problem.

Before leaving Epcot on Sunday, I got 2 FP to use on our next trip. I have about 5 FP left that we didn't get a chance to use during this trip. I'll take them with me in December. If we get to use them fine, if not fine.
