using ebay to rent at Bonnet Creek

Does anyone have any advice to help me choose a reliaboe BC owner to rent from. There are so many on ebay to choose from, I want to rent Sept 26th for 9 nights and don't mind waiting for the 60 days out to get a better rate.

I have rented at Winsor Hills from an owner but never through ebay.

That's where I found the person I rented from (I'll PM you). My guy was able to get a 2-bedroom for $120/night.

I am using the same guy as AMW and I check him out good. I don't go until Jan but he is very professional and Wyndham knew him when I called them and said he rented and don't know of any issues.

I've used e-bay for another Wyndham resort, and didn't have any problems. It's just like everything else on e-bay. Look at their feedback and how many rentals they have (not just total transactions). I know some of the BC e-bay properties are through travel store type places. Also make sure you know up front if you have to sit through a timeshare presentation. The e-bayer should be able to tell you that upfront.

Just like others said, make sure the buyer has great feedback and has sold a lot. We bought 5 nights a year ago from someone on ebay who sold a ton of timeshares at Bonnet Creek and somewhere in Vegas and other places. Everything went great for us.

To add to what the others have said, I've used ebay and gotten very good deals. I always make sure they are SquareTrade verified and covered by Paypal (for at least enough to cover what I'm spending). I also use a credit card to pay through Paypal to provide me with another level of protection (just in case ).
