Using DVC points to stay at Ft Wilderness and have a question

Can I use my DVC card to use a gym at any other resort since Ft Wilderness does not have one?

If you are staying at Ft Wilderness (on points??), your KTTW will not say DVC member. You will need to pay to use the fitness center at another resort.

Are you sure? It usually only said DVC if you stay in a DVC resort on DVC points. I know when we stayed at the CR, we didn't get any DVC perks because our KTTW didn't say DVC member.

But none of them say DVC member any more. So I wouldn't count on it for free.

It's kind of like pool hopping. You have to be staying at a DVC resort on a DVC reservation with pool hopping not blacked out to be able to pool hop.

been here a week... It says DVC room only on the card and it allowed me to use the gym at the WL (they gave me a code to type in after hours as only wl cards work on the door then). My parking pass also has DVC member on it so when we hit a dvc resort they just wave us through. Nice,....

Oh and the path between the Fort and WL is a great walk or bike ride..... Saw a dozen or so deer up close

That's something new. It didn't use to be that way.

If I'm remembering correctly from our many camping trips in the past, WL was the option for a gym for Fort Wilderness. Before the FW pool makeover, I remember reading about a camper who needed a hot tub for something medical and got passes for FW from a CM, so she wouldn't be confused with illegitimate FW pool hoppers.
