We are DVC members also. We are going on DCL in Nov and we are not using points. Instead we are going to WDW in May so our points will be used then. We are also using points in Nov to stay at SSR before and after the cruise. I do not think it is worth it. Because I booked early I got a good deal for a 7 night cruise.
