Using DVC laundry when on a cash reservation?

Hi all, we booked a last minute Easter weekend trip at Beach Club (woo hoo!!). Since I had already used up all my points, we just used our Passholder discount to book. My random question is, would I still be able to use the laundry at BCV since I am not staying on points?? It's not a huge deal since it's a short trip, but figured I'd ask.

Technically no if staying at the BC hotel, the laundry is for guests of BCV, not the hotel. If staying at BCV on cash, the answer is yes.

I personally would ask the front desk, when there, where to do your laundry. If they have a laundry room with machines that you pay for, I'm sure they'll send you there.

I believe the laundry room for Beach Club guest is located at the quiet pool (That's the pool on the other side of the volleyball area closest to EPCOT. We stayed at the Beach Club once (not the villas) and used that pool and remember other guest using the laundry room there. It was a cash laundry room (typical to other laundry rooms found at the pools at other resorts).

Thanks all. I always just hate coming home with dirty laundry and thought the only option was to pay for the laundry services with the yellow bag in my closet if staying at regular hotel. Thanks for the info!

1. Nobody will check your status at the laundry room door.

2. My experience is that they aren't normally busy to capacity.

If I were staying on cash, I wouldn't hog the machines from other members staying on points, but I doubt that'll be the problem. My experience is that members who depend on having W/D book rooms that have them.

I would use them. I wouldn't feel bad about it.
