Using DME but arriving late and staying at MCO airport.

My friend in arriving late and was planning on staying at a airport hotel and then back to the airport to use DME. How will that work? Just not use the luggage tags? Will they take your luggage at the DME counter? There are 7 of them so they need to use DME to hold down expenses.

Don't use the tags! They will get their bags and take them to the hotel, then take them back to the airport for DME the next day. And they will have the driver put them under the bus (be sure they know it's typical to tip a driver for touching bags).

When arranging DME they'll just tell the DME person that they need it for that morning at approximately x time. There's no bus held for them, it's not assigned.

Thanks! They're going to love dragging all that luggage back and forth but that's what happens when wait to the last minute to get flights. I've been telling them to book the flights for weeks.
