I've searched, but can't find an answer, so thanks in advance for your advice!

We are thinking about taking a non Disney cruise from Port Canaveral *prior* to our upcoming WDW resort stay.

Is it possible to: Fly into MCO==>Shuttle to the cruise/port==>Shuttle back to MCO==> *then* use Magical Express to get to our resort? I know we'll have to transport our own luggage doing it this way. I just wasn't sure if they'd let us, as we'd be using DME a few days after our actual arrival.

Has anyone done this? Any input would be greatly appreciated

As long as you are checking in at Disney the day you want to use DME you'll have no problem doing this. They don't check to see when you actually flew in.

Yes you can.

We went to the WWoHP when we arrive and then went to WDW after.

What we did was fly into Orlando, got a rental car, did WWoHP, took the rental car back to the airport and then took DME to our resort.

The CM left off our flight information for us. We added the return flight home at the DME desk and all was good.

Don't forget to make your Magical Express reservation for the actual date you will be riding it in advance of that date.

To speed things up, have in mind a flight number, any flight, any airline arriving at about the time you will be back to the airport and be ready to go to Disney. The DME reservationist may or may not ask for this.

Depending on how much the shuttle is it may just be easier and cheaper to do a one way rental from port to MCO or directly to disney and drop off at CCC or Dolphin. Then just use ME on the trip back.
