Just mention the Disney visa when making reservations and use it as your payment method. Very easy, we do it every year for Dive Quest!

We used it for the KTTK tour 2 weeks ago. It's 20% off.

I tried to use my disney visa and get 20% off for my son-in-law for kttw and they wouldn't let me - said I had to be going on the tour also. Has anyone done so or is this the rule?

Thanks, we'll be taking our 1st tour this coming trip. My DS will be 18yrs and ready to learn how they make the magic with KTTK tour.

I don't understand why they questioned that? I'm wondering if anyone had this happen to them also?

I've had to show my AP or DVC card in the past when I showed up for the tour to prove I was entitled to the discount.

I believe you have to be part of the party taking the tour in order to use your card for a discount.

The cardholder do hsve to be going on the tour. Disney Visa, AP, DVC, TiW all work that way.

When you go on the tour, you have name tags waiting on you. They ask for names of everyone in your party.

That's correct. They ask for ID and to see your AP or Disney Visa to ensure you are eligible for the discount when you check in. Sometimes they forget to ask for the Visa or AP, but normally they do. I've been on KTTK, Backstage Safari, Segway (twice), Backstage Magic, Yuletime Fantasy, and Wild by Design. Only twice have I not been asked to show the Visa or AP. (I've always been asked for ID.) Unless you are on the tour with him, he would not qualify for the the discount. It's not his Visa.

Hmm, maybe this is why EVERY trip my husband's reservation is under my name. I am always the one who calls and books DiveQuest for him with my Disney Visa. Whenever he gets there for check in, it ends up as my name.

That answers that mystery of why it always ends up as my name...But he says he has never been asked to show his Disney Visa when he gets there.
