Using Disney Gift Cards For Payments

I was wondering if we are allowed to use Disney Gift Cards toward final payment of my Disney vacation? These gift cards were courtesy of Disney management during our last visit involving a complaint and they told us we could use them anywhere on anything Disney.

If you are going through their website directly it gives you a option at the payment time to use a gift card. I believe you can use it elsewhere, does it have a visa or mastercard logo?

We used a travel agent for our last trip, and just called and gave her the numbers for our gift cards. She applied them towards the payment of our trip. I am pretty sure you can use them to pay for your trip no matter who you have booked through.

Thanks! The gift cards I received from Disney management were Disney gift cards so I'm really excited that it seems I can use them toward payment. I booked my upcoming Disney land/sea vacation myself using the Disney cruise website.

Any other info anyone has to share on this still feel free to post.
