Using discounts on Disney websites

Hi Everyone,
We are looking at booking a trip at the end of January 2010 and we have always been savvy with codes pins etc... However, it has gotten mind boggling with all the 2010 discounts (4/3, special percent offs, pins that we have received). My question is when you are booking on the Disney website is there anyway to enter the codes or do you have to speak with an agent directly?

Hmmm I always call PIN offers in. Otherwise, if it's a code, I just go to the "Special Offers" section of the Disney website click on one of those and the codes will be automatically figured into the pricing (you don't have to enter the code anywhere then).

As an example of the codes being built in, right now if I click on one of the special offers on the WDW website "Take a Disney Holiday and Save 29% at Select Disney Value Resorts" and then use 12/17/09 (just as an example date) to price out a standard room at ASM (just as an example resort), it comes up as October - December Room Only Offer and shows:

Date Rate per Night
Thu, Dec 17 $ 59.00

But going in through the "regular" reservation section, that same night prices at:

Date Rate per Night
Thu, Dec 17 $ 82.00

So $59 vs $82, or save $23 per night going through the Special Offers section.

Just make sure you click on the special offer you want to price that you use where it says "Get Started" in the deal description.

You can always call in of course, but I always like to play around with different dates, resorts, etc. when I book something. I would drive a CM crazy if I called nowadays

You can play with the dates at rack rate (aka full price) for you PINs and then take off the discount that the card says. You do need to call in PIN codes... unless at the bottom of your email there is a link to that says "click on this to use PIN". Also, when you call in with your PIN, you can ask the CM to run the numbers for all of the offers, and find out which is the best deal for your family.

I recently spent 30mins on the phone with a CM comparing my current PIN with the possible use of the 5/2 or 4/3 deal, and differences between resorts because we were thinking about adding some days on the off chance we could fly rather than drive. Unfortunately, it isn't going to work for us. Almost another $800 for 2 more nights if we fly.
