Using dining credits on check out day

Can someone please confirm whether we have until midnight the day we check out to use our dining credits?

We are at CSR from September 29th to October 6th with fd. We then check in to AKL for one night that we rented points to get. We still have until the end of the day on the 6th to use our dining credits, correct?

Has anyone had any problems with this? I thought it would be nice to have a meal at AKL.

Correct, you have until midnight after you check out to use the credits. There have been some cases where people were unable to use their credits after they've officially checked out (usually those who didn't use the "auto check-out" thingy and actually went to the desk to do it), but I haven't heard reports of that for months now (or longer?) In these cases, they were able to get it squared away at guest relations, but it was a bit of a bother.

When you check into AKL or when you're at a park that day, just ask them to check the credits on the card. This should only take a couple minutes. If they're there, you're all set, if not, then you can get them fixed right then and there.

In both 2010 and 2011, I have had ADRs on my check-out days and have had 0 issues with using them (2010 was lunch, 2011 was breakfast and lunch). I wouldn't worry about it much, but just to be on the safe side, you can check before you show up at the restaurant.

Thank you. We may not even do a park the last day. We are thinking it would be nice just to enjoy our Savannah view at Kidani and relax before coming home to 3 kids and work.

I would suggest a Plan B as your Villa at Kidani may not be available until after 4 PM. You could get lucky, but often the villas are not ready early.

It doesn't matter that the credits are on the CSR card, you don't turn in the cards when you check out. I have checked out every single trip, then used my dining credits that day before we head home. I've never had an issue in the last 7 years. I've never held out clear until almost midnight, but I have had dinner reservations that used our dining credits with no problems. You should be fine.

Just as an FYI for anyone who was wondering, everyone was right, i was able to use them with no problem. As a pp said, they were on my CSR card but it wasn't an issue until I accidentally gave the cm at Peco's Bills my AKL card by accident and he was quite confused that there were no dining credits on it.

My favorite thing about split stays is that you get that whole extra day to use up those credits!!!!
