Is it possible to use dining credits from the DDP if the ADR is not booked under the same MDE account as the DDP payment?
To clarify, I booked a surprise dinner at CG from my GF and I on the last night of our upcoming trip. Our current reservation is a room-only reservation booked at a discount rate through a TA and and booked under my GF name as the lead on the MDE account with myself listed as a guest.
In order to keep the dinner a surprise, I created my own separate MDE account in order to book the reservation and not have it show up with our other ADRs. However, we are now planning to add the DDP to our reservation. As much as I would love to still surprise my GF, it would be silly not to use some of our credits on this dinner. Will we still be able to use dining credits even though the ADR is not directly tied to her MDE? Everything I have read indicates in order to transfer an ADR to her account, I would have to drop my ADR and then re-book to her account right after. I would like to avoid that as I do not want to risk losing the ADR completely.
Thanks!
