Using DDP for CRT?

I have noticed on the ADR sites that CRT has to paid in full at booking time. How does this work when you are using the DDP? Do you have to put a deposit or just give you reservation #?

If I remember correctly you must leave a CC at the time of reservation because if you are a no show they will charge your card. However, if you are on the DDP and you keep you ADR your card will not be charged, they will use your DDP credits.

2) If so, you get a credit when you go to the meal.
3) If the credit card was hit, you can't get a refund until the meal.

NOTE: This is actually a frequent occurrence. I have had lots of people complain and demand a credit card refund. But, this has to be done at CRT, and others do not have the ability to reverse the charge.

I just booked CRT and had to give my credit card only to hold the ADR. I am using the Free Dining Plan for CRT. They told me my credit card won't be charged. But if they do I will just get a credit.

This is the not the case. We have been charged while using ddp by accident and the charges were reversed within two business days.

If they charge your credit card you call back as soon as you find out and say REMOVE THIS CHARGE NOW and they will

Like many other things related to "the rules", Disney appears consistently inconsistent with regard to how they handle this. I have the free dining plan, but mentioned to the CM that we would be paying OOP for our CRT breakfast ADR for seven. A week later, my card hasn't been charged, and I've confirmed the reservation exists.

We have also been charged on my credit card when using the DP. When I called they refunded my money right away.
