Using DDE card at Trail's End

I understand that if you eat a sit-down meal at Trail's End that the DDE discount would apply. What about if you get a bakery item, drink, refillable cup or other "to go" type items at Trail's End?

I used it for rice krispie treats from the bakery, to go with us when we left.. Don't know about the mugs.

I think it's good for all food and beverage items. Check the info on allearsnet to see if it says.

Anyone else tried to use it for counter-type items? I am especially curious about the drink mugs.

The DDE card is only good for the purchase of food items. I know when I wanted to use it a bag of pretzels at POP's food court, it wasn't accepted. (It was accepted on some boxed cereal, though...) I was also told at that time that it wasn't being accepted for refillable mug purchase(& this was in January of this year).

DOesn't Trail's end also have to go meals? Does the DDE work for those too? I think getting a good meal and then going to relax and eat in the cabin would be nice a night or two.

I think Trail's End is VERY unique in that it is listed as a DDE participant and has seated dining but also has a significant "to go" not-quite-counter-service food and drink trade.

Anyone else with experience in using DDE card at Trail's End for other than seated dining?

I don't have an answer, but I can't wait to use our DDE card...in 21 days! I promise, I'll give a full report when I return. I hate to wish away time, but we're really looking forward to Trails End, and our first FW vacation!
