Using comp UPH ticket for water park?

We were given a comp UPH ticket last year when we missed a park day due to hurricane Jeanne. Can we use this to get into a water park? Is it still the same ticket it was when we received it? We've never used it, it expires in 2014. Can we use it to go to BB then hop to TL in the same day? Not sure that we'd try that, just curious.

Thanks, Steph

If you were given a park ticket then that is all you can use it for. If you have buy a water park ticket you cannot hop to another water park the same day.

Are you sure it is an UPH because those tickets expire at the end of your stay?

hi, I had received some comp. UPH tickets before too. We were able to use them to enter a waterpark and DQ on the same day, so my answer would be yes. :goodvibes

Yes, they are 1-day UPH tickets, not purchased as part of a package. They were given to us when we lost a day of our trip because of a hurricane, and I guess we got UPH because we were on a package.

I didn't expect to be able to hop water parks, but we've never been to a water park at WDW before, and I wasn't sure if you could with a UPH or not.

Thanks!

With a UPH you can do anything you want within the day you use it. You may go to both water parks and hit a theme park for fireworks and then head over to PI if you want. It is good for the whole day on everything a UPH used to be good for.

I have six of the comp UPHs from Frances last year (we had 8 but used 2 of them when DD and I could not get a flight home). The can be used as patsal posted - 1 day UPHs - good at all 4 parks, the water parks, DQ, and PI - for 1 day - hop as much as you want. Our package last August had UPHs. We have until 2014 to use these.

As an FYI, we will have UPH tickets in December since our package was booked long before MYW came out so I am sure the CMs still know what UPHs can be used for.

Before using that one day non-stay-related "unlimited park hopper" pass at least try to figure out what it would cost you not to use it.

For example if you have already planned to buy new tickets without the plus pack and you set aside one day for both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, using the 1 day UPH for that water park day will save you $48. the cost of the plus pack. (Not $70. the cost of two waterpark admissions.)

For packages booked before Jan. 2005 for which UPH was chosen, the UPH works the same way as before, stay-related, good for unlimited entrance into all theme parks, water parks, etc. from check in until close of business after check out. Guests may optionally trade the UPH towards MYW passes including non-expiring ones, adding more money if needed, although the good reasons for doing so are quite limited and the number of waterpark admissions also become, limited.

On another thread someone commented they had the same kind of pass (back then it was called All-In-One rather than UPH) and used it for Pleasure Island only and then it was spent, a $21. value realized.

Thanks Patsal and Vavasmom for the info/experience! I couldn't remember exactly how the UPH's worked with the water parks, we haven't gone before.

Good point SeashoreCM, this is a day we hadn't planned to go to a park, and I was thinking we could just use the leftover ticket to get into a waterpark and/or possibly Epcot our first night for awhile. I bought 7-day MYW hoppers with our package, this was just going to be extra. I really hate to pay cash for the water park if I don't have to, my kids are 4 and 2 and I doubt we last long. We aren't planning another WDW trip for at least a few years, so if we don't use them this time, we'll have to keep track of them awhile longer.

Thanks again all!
