Using Chase Disney CC for Purchase?

Considering small addon @ BLT, remember seeing posts re running purchase thru Chase Disney credit card (i think); in order to get Rewards Points; then pay it off to avoid finance charges

*If possible, does anybody know if there is a maximum limit as to the $ Rewards u can garner in a year?

*Can u put 100% on the credit card or is there a cash DP requirement

*Assume u would just give ur guide the CC# & you'd be set?

*Know they offer 6 months free financing on vacations & cruises, wonder if it applies to DVC too?

I think you max rewards at 700 or 750 points (means you spent $75,000) per year. We did our original purchase from DVC on the CC (200 points VWL in 2007) no problems.

Using a credit card is the same to DVC as using cash. When you finance they want a % as a downpayment, but that % does not have to paid for with cash. If you have the room on your Disney Visa you can use it for as much of the purchase as you'd like.

There isn't a max on reward points. They apparently changed that earlier this year. Some posters rec'd emails (I didn't) but I called to confirm.
We just charged an add-on. The deposit is on my current statement as 0% for 6 months. Part of the balance should apply to the special rate also but have to wait until I receive the next statement.

We were told only the 10% minimum down payment would qualify for the 6 mos. 0% financing. You can certainly charge more than that if you like, but the special financing might not apply to more than the 10%. Actually, we got our closing costs at 0% too, but our guide told us we wouldn't so that was a nice surprise.
