Has anyone used their discounted tickets for DL? Were your passports sufficient for ID?

TIA

Your drivers licence should be enough, I don't feel comfortable taking my passport into the park, as soon as I get to my destination the passport is locked in my hotel safe.

According to Disney's website:
  • Offer only for Canadian residents, and valid Canadian passport must be presented with ticket for theme park admission.
  • Residents of Canada who are not Canadian citizens must bring valid passport and valid proof of Canadian residency.

We asked as we don't have passports. They said we could use our Nexus Cards.

Does anyone know if they can be redeemed for tickets at Guest Services in Disney Springs?

I carry a small sling backpack with me in the parks. Our passports go in an internal zippered pocket in it. I would never leave my passport in a hotel safe. Always on me.
