Using Airmiles for Park Tickets?

Has anyone used their Airmiles points for park tickets? I have almost accumulated enough to buy 1 3day pass. I was thinking about doing this for my next vacation and just adding more days and park hoppers to the ticket when I get to Disney. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Have never myself - I am also trying to figure out if it would make sense to use some of the southwest rapid reward points for a hotel stay near disney.

Make sure that the ticket you get can be upgraded before you move forward with your plan. If it is any kind of promotional ticket, you will not be able to add hopping or extra days.

In general, the best use of your FF miles will be to purchase airfare. Other uses give you a very poor return for the number of points required. I've looked into getting theme park tickets with my hotel points points and the number of points needed to get just one multi-day ticket was mind-blowing! I could spend a 5 nights in one of their better hotels for what the number of points it was going to take!

Use one day of the pass before adding the days. Otherwise they can tell it's a discounted ticket and you pay more to add days.
