Using a tent on a Full Hook-up

We had to change some dates around last minute and I was only able to get a full-hookup site for our trip. We will be in a tent, but it is a fairly large one. In the pics, it appeared that the full-hookup sites had smaller tent pads. Does anyone have a recommendation on a particular site or loop that would have larger pads?

We stayed in the 1600 loop last Oct. and it was plenty big enough for us.

Our tent is 18 x 17 and the ez-up is a 12 x 12. We liked staying in the full hook up site better than the tent sites, although we will not be so lucky this time around, there was no full hook up sites available so we will hopefully be staying in the 1500 loop.

Perfect thank you! I will try to request this loop then. Did you have trouble with extension cords, etc being long enough?

The electrical hook up was located at the back of the sites and the water was about 3/4 of the way up the parking area. In the first pic the water hook up is just out of the picture on the right side, but you can see the septic hook up area. The electric was behind the back corner of the tent. 1600 was a nice easy walk over to the pool and Meadows trading post, even for my mother who has had knee and hip surgery, she found it to be a easy walk.

How big is your tent? While Snowmedic has the tent going the "Long Way" with the EZ Up by the door of the tent, they could have just as easily rotated it and put the EZ up on the Pad. This could also minimize the sand/coquina that would get into the tent.

Unless you have a very large tent, I don't think you will have an issue.

I would have to ask DH on exact measurements. Its the REI Kingdom 8. The tent itself will probably be ok. It comes with a garage attachment that probably adds 6-8 feet. It comes in very handy in the rain, but wouldn't be a must. We were planning on bring some sort of an EZ-Up tent with us.
