Using a sit and stand stroller at the parks?

I have a DD3 and will be visiting WDW in Dec. I have a Plinko Lite that she hates and a Graco standard sized stroller that she loves. When we go places she is in and out of the stroller all the time. I was thinking that if I got a sit and stand stroller she would enjoy standing and seeing the park and not running around as much. I just don't know if I want to spend over $100 on yet another stroller. I would sell my Plinko Lite (just like new) and use the $ toward a new stroller. Looked on craigslist and ebay- just as expensive as new. I was also thinking of starting a stroller swap- but I have no idea how to do that and I think there is more involved than I want to handle. Any ideas out there? Do you like you sit and stand stroller? I know I could rent one but i just don't want to spend $80 on a stroller that I could buy for $100 at Walmart.

I would not get a sit n' stand stroller if you only have one child. It is longer, heavier and not as easy to turn and steer. I especially wouldn't recommend it if you will be using Disney transportation between parks and resorts. Have you tried the backpack harnesses or wrist tethers for when she wants to be out of the stroller?

I used the baby trend sit n stand last month for our trip to the world for my DD 17 months at the time and DS 6. It was fine and I enjoyed it for my needs and would use it again, but I would NEVER use a sit n stand for just 1 child. It's just not worth it at all. It's bigger, heavier, much harder to get on and off tram or buses, and you couldn't get to our basket from the back, you had to use the sides. I'm also not sure how comfortable your DD3 would be in the front of a sit n stand if/when she's using it. It's not very big and honestly I'm not sure she would fit. I would take the one she loves and when she wants out let her out and if she's not behaving or wants in, put her in. Trust me, I really think you would regret dragging along a sit n stand for only 1 child. Like I said, I'd take it back for 2, but it's my best option for 2, but if I only had 1 child or only 1 that would use it, I'd never take a sit n stand.

I wouldn't get a Sit n Stand w/ only one child. I love mine for my 1 and 5 year old daughters. What about those Buddy Boards that I have seen in some magazines? (Leaps n Bounds, maybe?) It screws on/attaches to the back of our regular stroller and allows a child to stand on it. I don't know if you have to have someone in the front of the stroller at the same time, but I wouldn't think so. Besides, you can put your bags in the seat to counter the weight. I don't know, but it's worth looking into. Hope this helps!
