Using a Disney World Magicband+ at Disneyland?

My family and I are travelling to Disneyland for the first time in august. We are Disneyworld AP holders and have Magicband+'s. I see that Magicband+'s can be used at Disneyland. Can the ones we have that are already synced up to our Disney World My Disney Experience Accounts be used? Thanks in advance!

Yes. You can link a chosen magicband+ you already have into the Disneyland App to your ticket or magic key. The My Disney Experience App is still the one to use to update, change color theme, and see charge level of your magicband+.

Be aware that some of the MB+functions that are available at WDW are not available at DLR. For example, MB+ will not recognize your ride photos. When you get off of the ride, take a picture of the photo and add the code into your Disneyland app.

If you initially have trouble connecting your MB+ don't give up. I tried to link mine the first day and it was giving me an error message so I just used my ticket on my phone. I tried again the second morning and it connected perfectly and was connected for the rest of the trip with no issues. It is definitely a work in progress in CA as opposed to FL but it was fun to be able to use my band again.
