My husband and I attended a DVC presentation on our cruise in July. Later in the summer, we received a follow up call from a guide. I told her we were about to close on a resale contract, but we would be interested in adding on a small contract direct after everything was finalized. Once we received our membership number, I contacted her again to see if she could find us about 30 points at either BWV or BCV. We've since decided we want BCV, but since there is no wait list, I have been checking in with her about once a week to see if there are any points available in our use year (Oct.).
So far, there's been no luck in about 2 months of waiting. Lately, it's taking her a long time to respond to my emails and since I am 35 weeks pregnant, I am getting impatient. I really wanted to get this wrapped up before the baby comes.
Anyway, my question is, is it possible to call DVC and see if another guide would be able to help us or do we need to keep working with the same guide? At this point, I just don't feel like the one we've been working with has responsive enough. I know that BCV is very hard to get, so I'm wondering if it's even worth it to call someone else.
Thanks for any advice you can give!
