Someone on another board I frequent mentioned that if you're going to need a babysitter while on vacation, to book the same sitter *twice* - the first time while you're having dinner at (or very near) your resort so you can make a surprise visit or two to see how things are going, and that way when you use the same sitter the 2nd time for when you'll be farther away you can be a little more comfortable with the person. I know nothing is fool-proof but thought this was a pretty good idea for those people who really want to do an adults only thing while they're on vacation but maybe are a little leary of using an unknown babysitter.

Just thought I would pass that little tidbit of info along!

That is a really good idea but remember they may have a schedule change at the last minute. So you might end up with someone different the second time.

Your little guy is definitely a miracle. And a cuttie pie :flower:.
I also have had 2 preemies-the smallest was 4lbs.(my water broke at 31wks. and I delivered her at 34 wks.).
She is now 2 1/2, over 30lbs., and 37" tall. And into everthing as a typical 2 yr. old-LOL.

Good point Cindy!

Always great to meet another parent to a preemie...My ds is also 2-1/2 (born in April '03) and 37" tall, coincidentally. He was only 26lbs the last time we checked though! And also like you dd, into everything just like a typical 2-yr old. :)
