Using 2 child credits at Caseys

Has anyone travelling with 1 child on the Quick Service plan used both child credits alloted for the day at at Caseys? Then used both adult credits later some where else? Is this possible? I don't think of it as cheating the system, just a way around getting an "older"(9) child an adult meal for dinner! Any thoughts?:confused3

If I'm not mistaken, Casey's is one of the locations that does not have a kids menu so your child can order an adult meal.

Yes, I understand that she can order an adult meal. My question is can I use 2 child credits there and then use 2 adult credits later in the evening elsewhere? Since Caseys serves us both the exact meal anyway... I know that some will consider this "cheating" but just wanted to get someones experience doing this?

There are some mixed reviews, but most say that the credits still appear to be pooled on the receipt.

Disney's written policy is very clear, use child's entitlements for childrens meals. Where it gets murky is the lack of separation on the receipts, their own system, and restaurants that have no child selection.

Just do your best to keep track of how many childrens entitlements you use and don't actively work to cheat the system. You'll be fine.

The only restriction that Disney seems to actively enforce is not allowing 3 adult meals when the room card says 2 Adults/1 Child. Because they are not separated on the receipt you couldn't say order 3 adult meals at Cosmic Ray's the night that you used your child entitlement at Casey's.

Personally I find this whole CS Child Credits to be messy and not very Disney like on Disney's part. It seems to me that they should follow their own written word, separate the credits out on the receipt and create smaller portion kid sized meals at these few remaining 'adul only' places. They could just finally separate things and this whole credit mess wouldn't be a mess anymore for Disney, guests (or us here wondering what is up with them).

So long as I am dreaming and wishing, I also wish for world peace :rotfl:

If your KTTW card shows only one child, they should only allow you to use one child's credit at a time. Your mileage may vary.

Okay. My understanding is you can not use more kids credits in one order than the number of kids listed on your KTTW card.

Well, imo, technically it is not cheating. It would be the same as going to Casey's for lunch and using 1 child's meal credit and going to another restaurant and using 1 adult credit and then doing this again for dinner. Essentially you would be using 2 adult credits and 2 child's credit for the day. It would be a little more inconvenient to go to two different places, but if your child wants more variety, I think this is a good way.

However, I do know that they will only allow you the maximum number of child credits shown on your Key. So if your Key says 1 child, they will only allow you to use 1 child credit at a time.

The way I understand is, that since they still pool all the credits together, this is what will happen:

Let's say your card says 1A and 1C on it and you have 12 QS credits. You go to Casey's for lunch and order 2 hot dogs, they subtract 2 credits, since the meals are the same for child and adult. Now you have 10 credits left.

Later in the day you go for dinner to Cosmic Rays. Here you cannot order 2 adult meals (even though you're thinking that you used child's credits at Casey's), because they have kid's meals. So here if you are buying 2 meals 1 would be an adult meal and 1 a kid's meal, just like your card 1A and 1C, they go by what it says on your room key. And at the end you have 8 credits left.

I will just add that a few weeks ago at Susnshine Seasons my father was charged 3 CS for breakfast when his card clearly had 2A (he had an extra breakfast sandwhich but was never asked if he wanted it charged as a CS or told he could get 2 more drinks) and he had no idea until 2 days later that this had happened. So even though you are only supposed to be allowed to use the amount of Adult or child credits on your KTTW card it is possible to be charged for more.

I happened to us too. 2 Adults no children ~ Adult CS used to pay for kid's meal. Actually I am pretty sure it happened to us twice. Really ticked me off b/c we could never get it fixed.
