Using 2 base tickets in 1 day

Hey guys! I have a question. We are going in November. We bought 4 day plus 2 days free base tickets from undercover tourist. It looks like we will only use 5 days. My question is, if we wanted to visit 2 parks on one of the days, can we use 2 separate day tickets instead of having to add hoppers? I realize we’d be using 2 whole day tickets on one day, but since we only paid for 4 and got 2 free, I’m ok with that. Thanks!

Nope. The system will recognize that you have used a park ticket already that day. You have to pay for the hopper option to visit two or more parks on the same calendar day.

You pay for the Hopper for the full length of your ticket, all or none.
It is a one-time charge.

Which is a fancy way of saying a 6-day ticket. If you actually had 2 separate tickets (i.e., a 4-day ticket + a 2-day ticket), you could use them in the same day. But you have a single ticket with 6 days' of entry to 1 park-per-day.

WDW frontloads the cost of multi-day tickets -- making those additional days (6, 7, 8, 9, 10) much less expensive than the first few. And WDW knows people might want to use that "extra" day that only costs $10 rather than adding a hopper priced at ~$75. So it isn't allowed.

I know it's been said, but there's your key words....DAY tickets. Somehow the system knows that a ticket has already been used at one park for that day. The next one comes through and you won't be allowed entry into another park.

Almost everybody wonders this at some point. You got a great deal from UT, but I would recommend adding the hopper option when you get there.
